Lombard is a pop-rock band formed in 1981 in Poznań (west-central Poland) After the recording of the first album, "Śmierć w dyskotece" (death at the disco, 1983) the band's line-up crystalised with Małgorzata Ostrowska as a lead vocalist. 80s were a very prolific for the band: they recorded their biggest hits such as "Szklana pogoda" or "Przeżyj to sam": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SS1cPlG2Byo At the beginning of the 90s Małgorzata Ostrowska left the group which caused a pause in their activity until 1993 when one of the members tried to reactivate it with no luck. That year Lombard Group formed. In 1996 Ostrowska came back for three years and then Marta Cugier replaced her. The group released around 20 albums and they are still active. In 2000 the album "The Best - Przeżyj to sam" came out (it was the 20th anniversary of the band's activity). It includes the most popular songs by Lombard.   4
