Saw this again for the first time in a while the other night on BBC4. It really doesn't get much better than this...

Found a couple of secondhand Maria McKee CDs last weekend and was reminded of the first time I saw her back in the eighties - in the 'cowpunk' band Lone Justice, with this great song. Written by Tom Petty, though she's a writer of note herself, of course.
I loved Lone Justice back in the day and I don't think Maria McKee has ever gotten her due.
