I adore the original version (but generally those were blocked from this site via YouTube by WMG, apparently). But Los Lobos did a fine rendition for the film produced several years ago.
27 yrs ago today, Los Lobos was at #1 with their version of "La Bamba," a single recorded by Ritchie Valens 56 yrs ago, based on a Mexican folk song decades older. Enjoy!
