Another one of my favorites from 2013. There is a beautiful sparseness in this track, elegant in its simplicity.

#10 I guess now we get to the real meat of the list, finally. For me, this song has so many elements I like. It's lyrically strong, it's a simple but emotive instrumental arraignment, lovely harmonies. I've really enjoyed the direction Low has been taking in recent years, and I kinda feel like this really sums it up in one song. Such melancholy and hope all contained in (just over) 3 minutes.

I got to see Low in concert last night, opening up for Slowdive on their reunion tour. It was an immense honor just to get to see the show, but, anyway, Low played this, the opener from their 2013 album, which I kind of skipped over when it came out, and this song stuck with me. You are required to listen to all of the lyrics. It's a short song.
