Lake Charles is one of my favourite Lucinda Williams tracks. Just finished the @T0m_Bruce book 'Every Inch Of The Way' where he cycled around the world. He was not sold on Lake Charles when he passed threough and yet it is a place I have wanted to visit if ever I was in Mississippi.
Along with "blue" and "metal firecracker", my favourite lucinda track. Open to suggestion, though, if you'd care to suggest more...she can do no wrong!
I bet there are a lot more Lucinda Williams fans than know it yet.
This has been in my head this week, and hadn't seen a live version before.
