Catch-Up Jam: Normally, a few months after I do my Top 31 Songs of the Year countdown, I get a little bit regretful about what ends up on there - songs being higher than they deserve, picking the wrong song by an artist, or just plain missing a song that, had I heard in time, would have cracked the list somewhere.
My regret this year started about 10 days into 2015. That's right, I had not heard "Uptown Funk" until January of this new year. HOT DAMN, did I ever miss out! This is quite literally everything I ever want in a song and I haven't stopped listening to it for the last month. If I'd heard it in time, this would have been at least #2 on my list, no question.
"Uptown Special" is also a surprisingly great album, but that's another story for another time.
