When the Compact Disc first arrived on the scene in the mid 80s, I remember my Dad picked up Marvin Gaye's Anthology as one of his first handful of CD purchases. I think this was the first or second song on that 2 CD set. I listened to both those discs constantly back then. It started my appreciation of classic R&B. Few performed in that genre better than Marvin, in my opinion.
