Matmos' reimagining of Molly Malone only heightens the tragedy of the folk classic, with Clodagh Simonds' voice (from Fovea Hex) bobbing about on an ocean of fiddle, guitar, hurdy gurdy, and machines. It's a free download in honor of Alan Turing, himself a tragic story. And so there's even an Enigma Machine in the stew. Heartbreakingly beautiful, one of my favorite tracks. Perfect for moments when you're haunted by lovely ghosts.
