What an incredible music story here, gang. Behind The Mask is a Yellow Magic Orchestra song, which has been covered a bit with English lyrics since the 80s. This version is a rough as guts vocal from the Thriller sessions. (It was meant to be on Thriller but there were legal issues...) It was "completed" and released after MJ died, but in a way I kind of wish they'd left it alone. At the same time...oh man, hearing YMO and Michael Jackson together... Awesome and a bit surreal. This is the one and only track worth listening to on the entire Michael posthumous album. I feel dirty for even owning a copy of it, but Behind The Mask cleanses me.
Jacko does the Yellow Magic Orchestra. I didn't even know that such thing existed.

Only good track on posthumous album. Not many people know MJ co-wrote the Clapton hit, and this is his version
