Skimming the PItchfork 200 Best Songs of the 80s. Don't think this one made the cut, but it's what kicked the decade off for me.... I came back from a year abroad in Ireland with my Planxty lps (which I still think are great). My college suite-mates mocked me for that, and were rockin' Off the Wall more or less continuously.

Was watching "This is it!", the sorta documentary of the what was to be the final tour of Michael Jackson, last night. That man was a legendary performer. Too bad his personal life was so messed up.
