The title of 'Pride of Denton, Texas' belongs to Centro-matic, but Midlake is a very close second, despite the letdown of their last record. This is my favorite song from their best record, "Trials of Van Occupanther."
This song has actually caused me to emote. A rarity for my hard heart.
