40 yrs ago today, Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells" hit #1 in the UK. It's a long, beautiful slow burn of a piece, that deserves at last to be stripped of its horror-film associations. Sit back and enjoy!
I know everyone will think I'm a Mojo-reading twat for saying this, but I bought the 5.1 mix of Tubular Bells the other day and it sounds fabulous.

Super cool song that provides a very nice atmosphere.
This album was a big part of my childhood.The build up to 4:16 still gives me goose bumps and tears in my eyes
