“I first heard this song on an episode of a tv series called Primeval, about dinosaurs popping up in present day thru weird time portals. I still can't decide if I liked Primeval, but I loved her performance, and this song is the best thing I've taken away from watching that series. I haven't done this in awhile, but just a few minutes ago, I found myself once again listening to this song, and singing along to it an octave or two below her, wishing I sounded more like Josh Groban and less like Ernest Borgnine. There was a time when I'd risk posting me singing this song online, but you're just gonna have to imagine a baritone keeping pace. Better yet, don't. As Marvel X-Men's Cyclops once said to Psylocke, "some things are best kept hidden." I doubt an instrumental karaoke version of Hiding Place will ever happen, so the world is spared my failure, but sometimes I imagine auditioning for some TV talent show and when I do, this song's on my short list.”
