I first discovered Mirel Wagner by accident, so it's probably apt that I only found out that she had a new album when I stumbled across it on the Rough Trade website a few days. The album is as excellent as the her debut and, again, anything I can say about her sounds like every single singer-songwriter cliché, but this is just awesome.

She was on Jools last week. Youtube won't let me promote the video so it's just the sound then.
Scary beautiful music from Mirel Wagner, quite possibly Sub Pop's only Finnish signing.

Having only recently discovered Mirel Wagner via this very site(apologies, I forget by whom...), and after listening to her debut album almost daily since, the news of a new record to be released next month has got me pretty excited.
