Muddy definitely had his mojo workin when he hit the stage for this historic groundbreaking appearance at the Newport Jazz Festival in 1960. One view of this video (or listen to the live album) should remove any doubt of the magic and mystery that McKinley Morganfield brought to the music world. Blues musicians and fans like myself are forever in his debt.
