On what would have been his 100th birthday.
From Muddy's 1968 psychedelic blues album Electric Mud ,I have often read critisim of this album because its not a conventional blues album. But I really like the album and the fact they tried to do something different.The album has went on to be influential in the hip hop and rap scenes with many artists using samples from it.John Paul Jones cited this album as an inspiration for Led Zeppelin's Black Dog as well .

Was introduced to this at a young age but took a long time before i apprecitated it.
