I'm surprised I haven't put a M&S up yet, but after having a recent discussion, I figured I'd put up one of my favorites. A song about perseverance without actually having a choice. Sometimes we are made to fight even when the odds are against us and we are unwilling, knowing that the end will only lead to another battle wound. Beautiful song. Beautiful lyrics. Beautifully sung. "And he carries the reminders of every glove that laid him down, or cut him till he cried out. In his anger and his shame, 'I am leaving, I am leaving' but the fighter still remains."
