Last week carol a class member died suddenly, carol had a wicked sense of humour and always made me laugh, and
Ok this 'my jam' thing is not all about a competition to choose the most ultra cool songs with the most credibility.....or is it? The radio was always on in my house when i lived was at primary school. This song struck me like a bolt of lightning in p7 or thereabouts because, mainly of the lyric - i was obsessed by a lassie called Carol in school, i had her on a pedestal, and thought she was out of my league. the song kind of sums up the whole era i was brought up in primary school, and in a way relationships were more straight forward - all i remember is the game called 'kiss kick or torture' in the playground, which consisted of girls chasing boys, and demanding a 'kiss, kick or a torture (usually a chinese rope burn to the arm). This game very nearly tempted away from the football game we had every morning, dinner and afternoon break ....but not quite! some things never change!......
