I was introduced to Kim Wilde in 1982 (Thank you @Curtis McGill) with "Kid's in America" and fell in love with her powerful vocals.
I was introduce to Nena in 1983 during an exchange trip to West Germany and loved the 'feel' of the music. The combination of the music and vocals really got my attention.
The combination is more than I could have hoped for.
