"In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" is one of my all-time favorite albums. It was a huge influence on '90s indie rock, and it remains a hipster favorite to this day. I tried to pick just one song to share, but part of the album's magnificence is that it acts as one entity, meant to be heard from beginning to end. With simple, yet captivating melodies, and words that are both beautiful and cryptic (and that contain references to Anne Frank), this album is one I have listened to all the way through multiple times, and I recommend that everyone at least try to listen through the whole thing once in their life.
