fuck yeah new young pony club!
I've always had a love/hate thing going on with the the New Young Pony Club. Their singles have been exquisitely icy, austere, arch and wonderful, but the two albums just failed to get me excited. Well, after many line-up changes and and quick rebranding - as NYPC - not only have they released two of the finest singles this year (Hard Knocks and this one) but the eponymous album, released last week, is bloody storming! This is the NYPC album, I knew they were capable of making. Magnificent stuff.
