“N is for Night School. Another Graveface band, Night School is a three-piece from California who certainly recall the girl groups of yore thanks to that Phil Spectorian Wall of Sound sound. Alexandra Morte (who is also currently in the band Camera Shy, an all acoustic two piece whose just released self-titled debut album can be found on Run For Cover Records) and Baylie Jiminez aren’t just the rhythm section, they also write the songs. Third member Sarah Trevena provides the lead guitar and the band’s huge sound. This track comes from a Record Store Day 2015 EP titled Carousel (a split EP with Dott). Night School also has an EP all their own entitled Heart Beat.”
