Was talking about music with my hairdresser today and he turned me onto this version. And then I found this video of african americans working in the cotton fields attached to it. Given Ms. Simone's great work for civil rights and that it was just Martin Luther King Day, this version seemed apt. But maybe I should pick Strange Fruit.
