“#ABCsOfMe J: I first heard this song on cassette at a friend's house as the opening track to Oingo Boingo's biggest album "Dead Man's Party", but soon after I fell in love with it when "Best O'Boingo" was one of the first 10 albums I owned. Their music is really wired into my DNA and their fan club is the only one I joined because they were the only American band I loved (I just couldn't work out the postage situation as a teenager).”

Just another spin around the sun. I spent a good part of this afternoon scanning through songs that had the word 'day' in the title, trying to pick just the right song to convince myself that tomorrow is just another day. Imagine my surprise to find quite a few musicians and bands have used "Just Another Day" as the name of one of their songs. Queen Latifah. Madness. John Secada. Vanilla Ninja. John Mellencamp. Henry Lee Summers. Keith Sweat. Tiffany Darwish. Jonathan Wilkes. Jade Valerie. Jon Cena. There's even a musical called Next To Normal with a song called Just Another Day. Maybe a lot of people sometimes find themselves looking at a tomorrow wishing it was already a yesterday. I'm fighting the urge to post everything Oingo Boingo ever recorded to this website. A personal rule for now is one song per artist/band. Many Boingo songs speak to me many times a year, but this one, right now, beats out all others with the same title. It expresses how I feel today.
