I love 1D's faceless songwriters! They seem to me to be huge fans of great mainstream pop music, and fiendishly clever when it comes to recycling the best bits of the classics to create something new that sounds strangely familiar. This arena-ready anthem, which evokes 80s rock, is one of the best tracks on their new album. Goose bumps on the chorus, and not ashamed!
At first I thought I'd trying to squeeze in some last minute poignant Jam picks before This Is My Jam shuts down... then I was like nah, I'm just going to keep selecting pop songs that I can't stop being weird about.
