From OneRepublic's 2013 album "Native" this song feels like a spunky girl in pig tails and glasses who grabs me by the sleeve and drags me out to the nearest dance floor. There is so much wonder and zest exploding outta this! When I first heard it I thought for sure it must be a cover. It feels like Motown. It feels like a song that's been with me all my life, but it can't be, cuz Ryan Tedder and Brent Kutzle just put it together a couple years ago. They performed it on NBC's The Voice this past season and I love that version, but TIMJ seems to prefer SoundCloud for longevity I guess. Also look for the "official" video on Vimeo and there's a "Capital Live Session" currently on YouTube for you to search too. Same song but different sound. Each version better than the last.
A fellow Texan named Willie Hutch released a song called Love Runs Out back in 1965 which is nothing like this one, but it's just as good in its own way. I may jam that one too someday.
There's no way in hell I could ever dance like that. This was something I found on YouTube on the show "So You Think You Can Dance" and it's performed by Jacque, Bridget, Jessica, Carly, Ricky, Rudy, Marquet and Teddy. It was choreographed by Travis Wall for a Mini-Group Routine.
