In this recording Redding's voice injects some earthy vocals into the Temptations' more blissfully rendered "My Girl"… which I love!

I saw a documentary on Stax records recently. In it they showed Otis singing My Girl and right after showed the Temptations singing My Girl as well. As much as I liked the Temptations song, I thought Otis version was better. Whose version do you like? "I've got sunshine on a cloudy day. When it's cold outside I've got the month of May. I guess you'd say What can make me feel this way? My girl (my girl, my girl)"
