I'm feeling a little too school for cool today.
I don't know what it is about this song that gives me chills and makes me wanna get up and shout and dance like an idiot when I'm really not normally that kind of person. I guess the lyrics speak to the anti-social nerd in me who never found a place where I truly belong, and the music has this unbridled energy about it that seems to say "go out there and make your own place! Dance like no one's watching! Sing like no one can hear! Live like you know you're dying, cuz we all are! Grab the nearest tiger by the tail and don't let go!"Of course I'm not going to do any of these things I never will I'm just gonna sit here and behave myself and slowly fade like a photograph and this universe will hardly notice my passing, but for just a haunting moment inside The Voice of Pink, there's this glimmer of hope that I could do all that and more if I just got up off my ass and did something. And who knows? Maybe her soul will reach through my thick skull and I will. Maybe. Someday.
