1989: Pavement were so nice to us- we had just moved from Boston to Orlando - broke ass - walking to Piggly Wiggly - they had just finished sound check and were hanging out in parking lot -put us on guest list and gave us drink tix..Thank you Pavement:) Oh, and they ARE a great band:)
Hey, Charlie, whacha doin'? Eatin' pickles and listening to Pavement. - or - The singer he had long hair and the drummer? He knew restraint. And the bassman? He knew all the right moves and the guitar player was no saint.
