Folk music lost an icon this week.
NYC guy passed away this past Monday. Pete co-wrote this song way back in 1949. Pete sang just 4 months ago in upstate NY for Farm Aid.
A true legend of folk is gone. Farewell, Pete, and thanks for the music.

Folk legend, social activist, banjo god and a soul bigger than the space he filled for all those years.
