I typically don't like covers because they rarely have anything to add. A "good cover" seems to be one that manages the incredibly low bar of not messing with the original. That being said, Peter Gabriel's cover of Elbow's 2008 song, 'Mirrorball' is a rare exception and it's the way I want to kick off 2014. With that, "So lift off love". Happy New Year.
