Sometimes I miss—though I realize it's a natural, I guess, course of evolution for music these days—the times, or the reality, in which/when the likes of Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, Jimi or The Doors were/are mainstream, instead of the music-like products, sugar-loaded, numbing, dumbing down and addictive, we are not-so-subtly, disrespectfully persuaded to shell out for and mindlessly digest. ‘I’m a HUMAN BEING, God damn it! My life has VALUE!’ Howard Beale shouted, and that was in 1976. Call me hopeless, but I'm still trying to make sense of all this…   3

Secret World Live. ......I hold the line.......!!

Peter Gabriel told his fan the story many times, a man who he met after a concert was from indian origins and when he was young, a medicine man brought him to a mountian and let a snake bite him. After that he had to go down without any help, to show how brave he was. I used to dislike this song, skip it when I was listening to the Cd. But now I know its meaning, and listened to it very well again. It became one of my favourite songs in a couple of days.   2

I've known the original album release for years, but there's something amazing about this orchestral version.
