Probably my favorite musician in the world at this moment.
I've been thinking about minimalism recently, and realised that my definition of musical minimalism didn't encompass things like this. If you read 'minimalism' as 'literalism' however, things open up somewhat - the smooth, glassy (no pun intended) surface of work like Floe presents all elements direct to you, without need for interpretation or expression, receiving information in this intense stream. This version of minimalism seems much more compelling than the more reduction-orientated definition.
