Dudes I grew up with just hit the top of Hype Machine. I am proud of some dudes I grew up with. True story.

More than anything in music, what tends to really hit me and drag me in is the atmosphere of a song, the feel of it, where the sound surrounds you and where it transports you to in your mind's eye; its presence – and this is steeped in it. Even though I'm not usually a fan of spoken word sections in songs, there's something about this that I find so arresting, it just envelopes me, the little touches like the harmony on the chorus line and the backing hum at 1:19... And I seem to be really into downtempo piano at the moment. Really looking forward to their first album when it comes.
