In a new golden age of shoegaze, the first full-length from Russia's Pinkshinyultrablast stands out...probably my fave album in the genre this year so far.
Heard this a month ago. Forgot about it. Now remembered. Celebrate!

My new favourite Russian band. My other half interviewed this band today, they are lovely. Their influences are The Cocteau Twins, MBV, Stereolab and other fab bands I love. They are also playing tonight but we couldn't go as have already booked our babysitter for tomorrow's Belle and Sebastian gig. We will definitely catch them next time. Enjoy!
