From the anti-war album of the same name that resulted in Polly Jean winning the 2011 Mercury Prize; the second time that she has been the recipient. Allegedly influenced by TS Eliot and Harold Pinter the lyrics and theme of this song are also linked to "The West's Sleep" by Irish Nationalist poet Thomas Osborne Davis; d.1845. ...
