Pond: great, ex-Tame Impala. Xanman: blissed-out psych-gaze. In my mind this is called Sandman, and is the theme to a movie of Neil Gaiman's comic of the same name. In my mind the movie's really good.
If you don't already know Pond... they're the Proggier version of Tame Impala.. at one time even featuring 3/4 of TI's band members. Not sure what the current line-up is but if this is anything to go by the new album, 'Hobo Rocket' (What a fucking amazing album name, ha) due August 5th will be just as brilliant.
Its psychedelic, its weird and i like them.
