Radio 1 DJ @allymccrae was on campus talking to our students, so here's group he's been involved with, @pridesband.
Glasgow-based trio Prides are starting to make some serious waves with their infectious brand of synth pop. Towards the end of last year alone they managed to play the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony to 7.5 million people, support Blink-182 at Brixton Academy and headline the BBC Introducing stage at Reading And Leeds Festival. Not only that but this was all achieved with only several tracks released so far, Out of the Blue being their best to date. Now about to embark on a huge UK tour with a debut album surely on the horizon, Prides look set to catapult themselves into the mainstream in 2015. Watch this space!
