Number#2 in the short series #SongsThatKilledMySpeakers This happened at an impromptu party at Hyde Barn residence, Winchester School of Art in 1984. Purple Rain was riding high. Me and my bud Bob attached his speakers and mine to my Akai amplifier. We toasted his speakers and one of the channels on the amp #PlayLoud - I'm off to practice the finger lick, hair slick move in the bathroom mirror.   3
