The full proper listing for this song is "History Repeating by The Propellerheads, featuring Miss Shirley Bassey." However, that's a bit of a mouthful. Back in 1997 this track was on what became their only album to date titled "Decksandrumsandrockandroll." The song was written by Alex Gifford, and performed by himself and Will White. However, if anyone remembers this song, it is due to the unmistakable song stylings of one of the greatest divas in the business. After this, White and Gifford have occasionally collaborated, and Shirley Bassey is still performing and recording in her 70s with her latest album "Hello Like Before" released November 2014. Presumably there's no ill will between the threesome, at least so far as i can tell. This gem of a song was a flash of genius, and an instant timeless classic. Presented so that it feels like it's been around decades longer than it actually has, and hopefully will continue to be remembered fondly for endless decades to come.
