Public Enemy became infamous for their lyrical content; many identified their words as "angry and violent." I don't see the violence, but the anger is there and it is strong and it is not without reason. It is not simply angst that fuels the fire of Public Enemy (or even in Ferguson), it is the centuries of injustice and oppression.
