A marked removal from all my previous jams and I promise normal service will resume next week, but I love this piece of music. So evocative, majestic, beautiful and completely timeless! I had the pleasure of seeing this performed live at Battle Proms in 2012. complete with the cannon accompaniment, and it was probably one of the best live experiences I have ever had. I can't listen to this now without the all the hair on my body standing on end when the cannons kick in. It sadly also reminds me of the million insect bites I got on my leg that day too, damn bugs!
