“#ISawThemLive I was a huge R.E.M. fan...No, I wasn't actually there, but I saw R.E.M. twice in 1985, the first time supporting U2 at the Milton Keynes Mud Bowl, where they were bottled off stage (what lovely U2 fans) so much so, if I remember correctly, that I don't think they even completed their set. The 2nd time at the Hammersmith Palais.....now that was great!”
