One of my true favourites - a beautifully sad song that doesn't wallow too deeply in the shivery depths of melancholy. The harmonies that build at the end alongside the softy triumphant piano uplift a song that I think is all about acceptance of loss and death..... then again it's Michael Stipe so it could mean bloody anything!
A relaxing tune. A nice way to finish 'automatic for the people'.
