This was an unexpected choice for me, as at that point I couldn't imagine buying an album by "that 'Creep' band," but my brother had road-tested their sophomore effort The Bends and liked it and when I saw a new copy of the imported UK vinyl of OK Computer for a mere $9.99 in a local shop (?!) I took the plunge. Of course the band carried on to huge heights, and I went on to buy all their releases to the present day.”
