I was at Wonderful LA 9 at the Echo last weekend and the original Spinners' version of this song got everybody AMPED. Saadiq's cover is great, and it reminds me of just how much I love Saadiq's take on soul music in general.
I still think the Spinners is the best version, but l think this is a really
good cover.
