On this cut from 'Til The Sun Turns Black', Ray LaMontagne might as well have been practicing voodoo, because he brought the Stax sound back from the dead. The studio record smolders, but this live version is in top form.
DoobDoobDaBoogie! Reminiscent of Tony Joe White at his best. Prefer the album version though for the uber-groovy keyboard funkanicity. Go check it out.
