An untypical Northern Soul tune but one of my absolute favourites. The arrangement is perfect and Ray must have lungs the size of a house to get to some of those notes.
If the Walker Brothers had recorded a Northern Soul slow burn classic. Love this recording.
Thanks to @Cavedweller71 ..This was just too great not to be heard and seen by more people...original song from 1965, this video was made in 1999 filmed in a trucking area in Las Vegas. Ray Pollard had lost an arm, and had a prosthestic limb, was also an actor and apparently became quite prolific when a one armed man was required. He was in The Fugitive with Harrison Ford, but sadly died in 2005.
