Brilliant - just listen and recall classic Oldfield from the 70s.
Absolutely astounding vintage Oldfield pastiche from the man Reed, hitherto unknown to me but something to do with Welsh proggers Magenta. Clearly knows his onions inside out - the onions in question being Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, Ommadawn, Incantations and Amarok, all of which are lovingly referenced here. Waited thirty five years for something like this. Something close to tears of joy on second listen. Spot on. Bloody spot on.
