RIP Robin Williams

This week has been full of ups and downs. I'll remember the good times that I was given by Mr. Williams most of all. While he may have been a comic and an actor, he was a good person. We all know that. I'll enjoy having a friend like him with my kids.

Being a so-called "child of the 90s", I grew up with a number of films that many of my generation would consider staples of their childhood. Robin Williams was often at the center of those films. He made me laugh as a wise-cracking Genie, lifted my spirits as an adult Peter Pan, and brought me on an adventure through a literal urban jungle in Jumanji. He was not only a funny and talented actor, but a purveyor of the human condition, one that many audiences were able to connect to in a number of guises. He was a comedian and a humanitarian, and he will be missed. :(

That news really hit me like a ton of bricks. Haven't cried like that in a while. Glad I was alone and Friend like Me was playing really loud… I'm like a kid who just fell off his bike over here! Covered in snot. Don't know what to say other than I will truly miss this persons existence. Thank you for everything.   2
